Day 107 3/01/2015

Sue & Paul took us to Balmoral Beach (where we'd been on Christmas Day) to enjoy a morning swim.  The beach there is lovely and there is a shark netted swimming area at the southern end surrounded by a wooden walkway which you can swim to and jump/dive in from.  The sea is warm and clear and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, so much so that after coffee we went back in for another swim before heading back to Sue & Paul's for lunch.  In the afternoon we went into Balmain to do some shopping and were treated to afternoon tea by Sue, who made some delicious homemade scones. We took Belle and Rosie to the bay again and ventured into a couple of local bars before heading back.  Simon was cook for the evening and treated us to spaghetti bolognese, washed down with a few more purchases from the Hunter Valley.  We've thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sydney.  Wendy, Sue & Paul have been fantastic hosts and it's been great to meet Will and Nancy and some of their friends.  We've off on our travels again tomorrow.  All feels a bit daunting after the comfort of their homes and great company!
